A Deeper Approach to Social Studies

Welcome! I’m Carvel Munroe. Since 1999, I have worked within education circles to support learning by addressing the unique conditions that go far beyond the traditional classroom walls.

My journey in education has been shaped by diverse, complex, and often volatile environments. Working under the guidance of professionals with advanced degrees, these experiences became divine assignments. Through hours of observation and fieldwork, God has cultivated my ability to recognize the structural patterns and see the gaps that offset potential in youth and adults, individuals, and teams.

Real learning isn’t confined to a desk. I am deeply familiar with the learning that takes place both in school and outside of traditional hours—whether that is within faith-based communities or under intense constraints, such as the county jail system.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Instructional Design & Technology from the University of Central Florida, my work bridges the profound human insights of social studies with the precise mechanics of effective learning technology.
